She nods, and she stares at the house for a long, long minute. Then she turns and pulls him into a hug. She's shivering a little, obviously from residual nerves, and she clings to him.
"Thank you," she whispers. Her chin wobbles a little when she pulls away, but she doesn't start crying again.
